Our diverse portfolio includes projects ranging from trail maps for hiking and mountain biking to parcel mapping and related documentation in support of business objectives. Specialties include GIS mapping, GPS surveys, cartography and graphic design. I’ve been enthusiastic about maps ever since a youthful introduction to Canada’s 1:50,000 series topos during wilderness canoe trips in the Temagami region of Ontario. My interest in large scale, recreational cartography continued through a college course of study that focused on GIS mapping and related technologies with supporting natural resources coursework. Seven years, an array of projects, and countless revisions later – I bring an optimistically realistic outlook and wealth of experience to each project.

Between map revisions, I am a supervisor with Snowshoe Mountain Outdoor Adventure Program. Officially titled ‘Hutmaster’, my job duties include all aspects of daily operation for the Sunrise Backcountry Hut / Adventure Dining Program. In winter a vintage Jeep ambulance will transport guests to the cabin three to five nights each week for fine-dining in a rustic setting… it’s truly an adventure like nothing else around. I also play a supporting role for Adventure as a guide, off-road event coordinator, geocaching guru, and Segway jibber.
